Course overview
Learn how organisations use data, business intelligence and AI to understand how they’re doing and plan what comes next. Turn complex information into clear visual dashboards and confident recommendations.
Good decisions start with good information. This degree combines core business knowledge with practical skills in data analysis, business intelligence and AI. Business intelligence means using data to understand how a business is performing. You’ll learn to see what is happening in a business, why it’s happening and what could happen next.
You’ll explore how organisations collect, analyse and communicate information about performance, customers, markets and operations. AI helps with the routine work, so you can focus on spotting patterns, asking the right questions and explaining what the numbers mean.
No technical background is needed. You’ll learn to use AI tools with confidence and good judgement, and apply them to real business challenges throughout the course.
Business intelligence skills you’ll build
- Business intelligence and data analysis.
- Spotting trends, opportunities and risks.

You’ll study through Arden’s digital learning platform, with your virtual classroom, lecture theatre and the Library Portal’s journal titles, eBooks and academic and industry databases.
