Your Arden degree
Who teaches and awards the degree?
Arden University. The degree is co-developed with Google Cloud, and taught, assessed and awarded by Arden. It appears on your certificate as an Arden University award.
Do I need a technical background to start?
No. Foundation year routes start from the beginning, and the AI tools are taught as part of your subject rather than as separate computer science.
How will I study?
Through blended learning at one of Arden’s UK campuses, or online, with tutor support either way. Each programme page confirms the study options and locations.
How is academic integrity handled when AI is part of the course?
You will be taught where AI helps, where it does not, and how to declare its use. Your own judgement and reasoning are what gets assessed.

What does co-developed with Google Cloud mean in practice?
Google Cloud subject-matter experts worked with Arden academics on learning content and applied activities, and Google Cloud learning content sits inside the modules. Arden University teaches, assesses and awards the degree; Google Cloud does not award or validate it.
What is Gemini Enterprise, and how will I use it?
It is Google Cloud's enterprise AI assistant, available to you as part of your Arden learning experience. You can use it to research, summarise, organise your notes and test your understanding, with guidance on when and how to use AI responsibly.
Will I work on real client projects?
Applied learning is built around scenario-based challenges set in your subject. Where a named external organisation and brief are confirmed for a programme, that is stated on the programme page.
