AI, emerging technologies and digital transformation are creating new opportunities and challenges for every organisation. The MSc Digital Leadership and AI Innovation helps you lead your organisation through that change and turn new ideas into real results.
You’ll bring together AI, digital innovation, strategy, leadership and responsible technology, learning how to evaluate new tools, spot opportunities and connect technology to business goals. You don’t need to be technical: the focus is on leading people and decisions, with AI as a practical assistant.
Your final project or business consultancy dissertation tackles a real organisational challenge: you’ll design a strategy for using AI to change how an organisation works, and assess its impact on the business.

How you’ll learn to lead change with AI
You don’t need a technical background. You’ll start by testing leadership decisions in realistic business scenarios. Next, you’ll turn information into clear dashboards for senior leaders. Your final project tackles a real challenge in an organisation, ideally your own workplace or target sector.

Blended learning combines dedicated face-to-face classes over two days each week with flexible independent study through Arden’s digital learning platform.
It suits students who want regular contact with tutors and peers and live within commuting distance of an Arden campus.
Funding. Students from England on a blended course at a UK campus can apply for a Postgraduate Master’s Loan to help with tuition fees and living costs. Students from Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland can find funding information from their regional student finance body.

Entry requirements
Academic requirements
- An undergraduate honours degree at 2:2 or above in any subject; or
- At least two years of relevant professional experience in management, technology, business or digital transformation, supported by a detailed CV and professional references.
- A personal statement and evidence of experience may be requested.
English language requirements
- IELTS 6.5, with no less than 6.0 in any element.
- TOEFL iBT 88.
- Or an accepted equivalent.
